Jaclyn Williams

Grade 6 Homeroom Teacher

 

Mrs. Williams became a teacher here at SMS in 2014. She is one of our 6th grade homeroom teacher and she teaches Science to grades 6, 7, and, 8, Geography to grades 7 and 8, and Reading & Math to grade 6. Mrs. Williams is also a co-advisor for our National Junior Honor Society.

Before teaching at SMS she worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in Branford at Walsh Intermediate School for seven years. Mrs. Williams attended Southern Connecticut State University for her B.S. in Psychology and the University of New Haven where she earned her M.A. in Education as well as her state teaching certification.

In 2012, Mrs. Williams served as a student ambassador teacher leader with People to People International. She traveled with 24 middle school students from New Haven County to France, Italy, and Greece for 21 days.

Mrs. Williams and her husband live in Milford with their daughter Brynn, along with their two dogs: Cali who is an American Stafford Terrier and Gunner who is a Yellow Lab. When not teaching, Mrs. Williams loves spending time with her family & friends, reading, going to the beach, and attending music concerts.
