Food Collection on Friday, February 2, 2018
Each month, we collect non-perishable food and other needed item for the Precious Blood Parish John Rigiley Food Bank. These items help our Parish keep up with the ever growing demand of families in our area. It is one of the many ways we “Live the Message of Jesus,” by giving Christian service to those in need.
The families of St. Mary School have been very generous in this monthly activity. For this the Parish and the volunteers at the Food pantry extend their appreciation.
The collection this month is THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd.
While anything you contribute would be gladly accepted, there are a few items the Food Bank can really use, they are (NOTE: Nothing needing refrigeration):
- Microwave meals (non-refrigerated)
- 4 pack pudding or fruit packs
- Boxes of granola bars
- Men’s and women’s deodorant
- Shaving cream
Thank you again for helping us to teach our children the importance of putting our Faith in Action by not just saying, but actually meaning it when we say: LIVE THE MESSAGE OF JESUS
