Saint Mary School

Growing in Faith & Knowledge Since 1961

The purpose of Saint Mary School is to educate the whole child through programs encompassing the development of the students. This will enable students to become contributing members of the school, parish, and community.

St. Mary School recognizes the individuality of each student and strives to develop a well-rounded Christian personality. This will be reflected in a wholesome attitude and a respect for self and others as exemplified by Jesus in the gospel.

As a staff, we believe that a gospel-rooted educational environment where students experience Christian community service, students will be encouraged to integrate faith and Christian values into their daily lives and thus be provided with a healthy attitude which they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

To that end, we strive to work in cooperation with parents to develop a climate of catholic educational excellence and a curriculum that is relevant to daily life.

From the Principal's Desk...

As we move through the season of Advent, we are all excited with anticipation for Christmas.  Santa Claus, and Mrs. Claus, already visited us at the annual Breakfast With Santa, the tree is up and in the Lobby with the Nativity Scene set in the trophy case, and you can see the angel silhouettes in the windows of the school from the Church and School parking lot.  Our hard working parents are outside every evening selling Christmas Trees, wreaths and cemetery boxes (in fact, they are almost sold out!) and the students have shopped at the Elf Store.  To show we do indeed Live the Message of Jesus,  we donated toys to help the Milford Firefighters in their annual Toys for Tots program and are doing a Dress Down so that we can help the Beth El Center provide stockings for the children in their care.

Above all this, however, is our preparation to celebrate the Birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Please join us in always remembering why we have this festive season, the only reason - and that is to celebrate His Birth as God Made Man

Live the Message of Jesus!
