In order to accommodate our expanding enrollment, the Library has been converted to a classroom, now Room 18 (which it originally was). Teachers have already taken many of the books to keep in their classrooms, many of the early grade series are being kept on shelves in the Computer lab, and other books in good condition worth keeping are being catalogued and stored until needed.
I am sad to say that MR. ED BONESSI, Spanish Teacher, has left his position to work with the Greenwich Public School System. We will miss him – he did a wonderful job helping our World Language program grow.
In order to better provide the appropriate amount of time to the curriculum based on current educational thinking, and to work along with the Milford Public Schools who are also doing the same, we are extending the school day by a few minutes.
To keep you informed on various things going on and to help you prepare for the start of School year 2017-18, we decided to send several email updates to you through the summer. This is just the first, more will follow with more details and information.
In Deacon John Hoffman’s recent homily, he promised us there would be no homework over the summer. But then he shared his Top 10 Ways to be Happy This Summer, and we think they are ALL worth putting into action!
